Tile selection is rarely just about the tile itself.
Anyone who has worked with tile knows this: the grout line can make or break the final look. The same tile with a thin, seamless joint reads as minimal and contemporary. Add a wide, contrasting grout line - and suddenly it becomes bold and graphic. Change the grout color - and the whole mood of the room shifts.
Until now, tile visualization skipped this part entirely. Customers could see the tile, but not the installation.
We've changed that.
Tile products in Wizart Visualizer now support adjustable grout settings.
Businesses configure available grout widths and colors during product upload. Inside the visualizer, customers can switch between them in real time - without leaving the scene, without starting over.
Three grout width options:
Custom grout colors:
Previously, the visualizer automatically matched grout color to the tile - and that was the only option available.
Now, businesses can define their own grout color options per product during catalog upload. Customers choose from those options directly inside the visualizer, switching between them in real time.
If no custom colors are defined, the visualizer continues to apply an automatically matched grout color - consistent with how it worked before this update.
For customers, choosing a tile is really choosing a finished surface. And that surface always includes grout.
The same tile can feel larger or smaller, quieter or more expressive, premium or standard - depending entirely on how the grout is configured. These aren't subtle differences. In many cases, the grout line changes the entire visual rhythm of the room.
Most visualization tools ignore this layer. Customers see the tile in isolation, make a decision based on that, and only discover the full picture after installation.
That gap between expectation and reality is exactly where purchase regret - and returns - come from.
Customers see what they're actually buying Not a tile in isolation - a finished installation. That's a fundamentally different and more honest buying experience.
Fewer surprises after purchase When customers can compare grout options before deciding, they choose with more confidence — and return less often because the result matches what they expected.
Premium products get the presentation they deserve Large-format tiles, handmade collections, and designer ranges look very different depending on how grout is handled. Now that difference is visible before purchase.
More useful for designers and architects Professionals evaluating tile for a project don't just think about the tile - they think about the full specification, including joint width and finish. This makes the visualizer a more credible tool for that audience.

Grout is part of the tile. Now it's part of the visualization.
A tile doesn't exist on its own in a real interior. It exists as part of a surface - with joints, with grout, with all the decisions that go into a real installation.
Adjustable grout width and color brings the visualization closer to that reality.
