Wizart Visualizer is an integral part of your e-commerce ecosystem, and all product information must be consistent with what appears on your website. However, updating and maintaining accurate product information across multiple channels can be challenging for many businesses. This is where we come in, offering a streamlined solution for updating your PIM system with ease.

Let's see how you can automate product updates using Zapier.

What is Zapier?

Zapier is a web-based automation platform that allows users to connect different web applications and automate tasks without any coding skills. It supports over 500 web services and can interconnect methods and data between them. With Zapier, users can easily set up connections between different applications in just a few minutes, enabling them to automate various tasks and workflows.

By using the Wizart app in conjunction with Zapier, you can automate the process of updating product information in your PIM account, including pricing, availability, and visibility based on inventory. This integration provides actions to enable effective and seamless communication between your inventory and Wizart PIM.

How to connect Wizart App with Zapier

To get started with Zapier and connect it to your Wizart PIM account, you need to follow these steps:

Step 1. Sign up for a Wizart PIM account.

Before using the Wizart App on Zapier, you need to have a Wizart PIM account. If you don't have one yet, you can sign up for a free trial at the Wizart website.

Step 2. Sign up for a free Zapier account.

If you don't already have a Zapier account, you can sign up for a free account at the Zapier website.

Step 3. Create a Zap

To create a Zap, click the "Make a Zap!" button in your Zapier dashboard and follow the prompts to choose a trigger app and an action app.

Step 4. Choose a Trigger.

Once you have installed the Wizart App, you can choose a Trigger to initiate an action in your Wizart PIM account. For example, you might choose "New or Updated Spreadsheet Row" as a Trigger so that whenever a new or updated row is detected in a Google Sheet, the Zap can update the relevant data fields in the Wizart PIM system.

Step 5. Choose an Action

After selecting a Trigger, you need to choose an Action, i.e. Wizart App. The Wizart App currently has two Actions available:

  • Update Product allows you to update your products
  • Update Product (Shared) lets you update information for products shared with your PIM inventory from other brands or collections.

Select the appropriate action based on your requirements.

Step 6. Authenticate your Wizart PIM account

To authenticate your Wizart PIM account, you need to enter your username and password for your Wizart account. This information will be used to authenticate your access to the Wizart PIM API.

Step 7. Map Fields

Once you have authenticated your account, you can map the fields from your Trigger (e.g., the worksheet columns) to the corresponding fields in the Wizart PIM system. The required fields are brand_name, collection_name, unique_sku_id, and custom_sku_id.

Step 8. Test and Enable your Zap

Once you have mapped the fields, you can test your Zap to ensure that it is working correctly. If the test is successful, you can enable your Zap to start automatically updating product information in your Wizart PIM account based on your chosen Trigger.

The live Zap allows you to edit the desired product fields in your trigger app (e.g. Google Sheets), and after a few minutes, the Zap will be triggered, and the product data will be updated in your Wizart PIM inventory. This way, you can easily keep your product data in Wizart up-to-date without having to manually update each field separately.
To see the results, you can check your Wizart PIM account to see if the product information has been updated. You can also view the Zap's history log in Zapier to monitor the status of the integration and see any error messages or successful updates.
